Reduces UV-induced pigmentation and melanin production
Tetrapeptide-30 is a dual-function tetrapeptide with concurrent anti-inflammatory and mild depigmenting activity. It reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine production in skin cells while modulating melanin production pathways, making it uniquely suited for formulations that address both skin sensitivity and uneven skin tone simultaneously. Particularly effective for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), where both inflammation control and melanogenesis inhibition are simultaneously required.

Tetrapeptide-30‘s dual mechanism, anti-inflammatory plus depigmenting, makes it one of the most versatile brightening actives for sensitive skin, addressing the common scenario where hyperpigmentation is driven or exacerbated by inflammation (PIH, melasma, acne-related dark spots).
